Facebook gets its first worm. No real surprise there, it was (as Richard Stiennon says on his blog) inevitable. The real question in my mind is, "How will Facebook's response differ from Google's response to the Orkut worm?"

The cyber sleuths at Fortinet have tracked down a malicious widget on Facebook. Read the advisoryat the FortiGuard Center.

The “Secret Crush” Widget suggests that someone has a secret crush on the recipient and to find out he/she has to install the Widget and oh, btw, invite five Friends to do so as well. The Widget then proceeds to install the Zango malware…
